Hungry? Grab some Kale Chips!

Need a healthy snack but dying for that salty junk food crunch? Try these vitamin packed Kale Chips!

Kale is a leafy green vegetable that is chocked full of good stuff. On it’s own kale has a very green taste to it and may not be the flavor of choice for many, but turn it into a kale chip and you’ll be amazed at how delicious healthy food can be!

Kale chips are super easy to make:

Wash off some clean, fresh kale leaves and use a knife or scissors to trim the leaves from the stalk and make them into nice chip-sized pieces. Toss them in a little bit of olive oil and bake them on a cookie sheet in an oven set at 350. It takes about 10-15 minutes for them to get crispy, let them cook until the edges are brown. Then, pull them out of the oven and let them cool - then enjoy!

How did you first day of the Ranger Wellness Challenge go?

If you haven’t written down  your personal wellness goal, now is a great time to do it! Think about what you’d like to accomplish over the next 8 weeks. Do you want to cut out drinking soda? Do you want to eat more veggies? Do you want to get more sleep?

Write down your goal and put it in a place where you can see it multiple times during the day: post in on your computer screen or put it on your bathroom mirror and write it in your Wellness Journal.

The next 8 weeks will go by fast, so take advantage of the opportunity while it’s here!

The Ranger Wellness Challenge Starts TODAY!

Today is the very first day of the Ranger Wellness Challenge!

We would love for you to participate in the Ranger Wellness Challenge annual Poker Walk which starts today at noon in Main Place. Stop by the Ranger Wellness Challenge info table to get your first poker card and a map of the other 4 locations. The person with the best -and worst!- poker hands will win a Ranger Wellness prize.
